You sly dog, you!

Just curious, how much was the pet rent?

Have you tried the "coffee in a jar" trap? It was featured on the local news a few years (?) ago. You put about 1/2 inch of wet coffee grounds in the bottom of glass jar, like a mason jar. You tilt the jar against a wall or in a corner. The roaches love the coffee and will dive in but they can't get out. Worked great for me. We don't use ground coffee so I bought some cheap fresh coffee and wet it with a little hot water. I tried a plastic container but it didn't work. The buggers can get a foothold on it. This avoids putting up with the noxious poison fumes.

I would much rather have paid $25 a month for our dog Lilly than the $500 non-refumdable pet deposit I had to fork over to my apt complex back in december

I already paid a $300 non refundable deposit 7 months ago. A new management company took over and tried to insist that I had to pay pet rent now since I'm signing a new lease.

$25 a month in pet rent is robbery! I thought it was bad when we paid $15 a month. (for 1 cat and free for the other cat they didn't know about) And this was after a non-refundable $350 pet deposit!
I think if they are going to charge pet rent, they need to charge kid rent too. Also charge car rent for too many extra cars.
I had never even heard of pet rent before moving to Nevada.

Back in 2007, my dad paid $500 non refundable pet deposit along with $100 pet rent for my sisters chihuahu, because of that my dad was paying $1200 a month for an apt that was across the street from sea world. Pet rent is MUCH lower in LV than it is in Orlando
