Default Hail and rain in Henderson

It's hailing right now in Henderson. Glad I'm not golfing. Good for the garden though. Yippee!

And what do you think the working conditions were like in our country 100 years ago? Little or no difference!

Manufacturing is destined to move out of China more quickly than you can imagine! That one-child family is going to do the trick!

That spoiled brat one-child, you ain't, ain't, ain't gonna find them working in a manufacturing plant or working the fields, never, ever!

I saw that first-hand on my 3 trips to China. Go to the toy section of a department store in China and it's far worse than walking into a Toys-R-Us in this country! Screams, tantrums like you wouldn't believe! Spoiled rotten to the core!!! Small wonder that one child is referred to as an emperor!

Yes. I think it's interesting that people are so quick to point the finger at China when our own country and the Western world went through a similar stage in history. The Industrial revolution actually gave children more value...instead of being another hungry mouth to feed they could help bring wages to a starving family. Not that I'm supporting exploitation, however...

We have the luxury as a rich nation to sit back and judge while the majority of our children are so spoiled they are becoming obese because they are parked and plugged in most of their living day.

Anyone else notice that there's been a murder nearly every day lately? Of course it's in the same usual neighborhoods but it seems to be getting worse.

Really? It's amazing how safe the city is when you don't watch the news.

Given the desperation in this city, the unoffical unemployment rate of 20%, what continually surprises me is there's not 5 murders a day!
