omg

Maybe you could take it to a Nissan dealer and they'd give you enough $$ to pay the loan off?

I'd be too afraid to try selling it on Craigslist. Never know who you're going to encounter, and especially having to accompany an unknown person or two for that inevitable test drive

I have no idea why you would want to drive a piece of crap like me, especially considering the good job you now have. However, if you are dead set on it, you need to sell it privately. Craigslist or Ebay are your best bets. A dealer is not going to give you anywhere near what your payoff is. Do not take any less than your payoff, and save up at least $1,000 for another car that you can pay cash for.

Lvd, my job is STILL not enough to cover all my bills, and my parents are threatening to cancel my insurance, this means I won't be moving top CH either, because then I will be dead broke for sure .

My job is also having big rounds of hour cuts after this week

As much as I HATE to admit this LVD you were right when you said I need to stay central close to the strip for my own good, and that I should have paid off my loan with the ins check from my accident last summer, but I was foolish to think I deserve nice things, and get something I want JUST ONCE, but apparently that is too much to ask for

It looks like ill be staying with the dregs of.society on sierra vista indefinitely, I dont deserve anything I want anyways

You need a different insurance company man. I'm 26, I drive a 4 cylinder from 2004 in an OK at best part of town and I pay around 1,000 a year. Even when I was your age and I had 2 accidents from my teen years still affecting my insurance I never paid above 2k a year. Where I lived then had high premiums for car theft and vandalism too.

Exactly. davie, go online and get quotes now. Unless youu have a bad driving record, you should not be paying so much.

I am not the all knowing one...

"Plan for the worst and hope for the best"

That is exactly what I do. The best thing you can do is take it one step at a time. You will have nice things in the future, but you need to be patient. Your apartment may be bad, but it is cheap AND it is very close to your job which is very good considering how much gas prices are going to go up. Clean up your car real good and go about selling it. Start with Craigslist since it is free. If that does not work, go with Ebay since you will get a lot more exposure. The downside is it cost approximately $125 for the ad (only if it sells) so it does not hurt to try. When you get a cheap beater it will cost $54 a year to register it. You could insure it bare bones liability for about $100 a month. This will save you a lot of money each month.

He is a 21 unmarried male with an at fault accident. No matter what, his rates will be high. I have been there myself, and the best thing to do is get minimum liability coverage only until the accident falls off (3 years).

One other thing is Airics could hook you up with a real cheap beater car because he has a dealer's license and could go to the Manheim for you.
