Nothing classy about gangs and skin color does not make one any better. Gangs from California have been coming here for years and pretty much lowering the quality of life in parts of Clark County.

Were you here in the late eighties and early nineties? That's when California passed the three strikes law and we were overrun with gang members fleeing LA. NLV PD were the original "bad boys" of law enforcement. They did a pretty good job of sending a message that we were not interested in hosting LA's rejects.

That first photo if from Bushwick, Brooklyn. BTW the cigar was placed in the mouth after the victim was dead. I knew the detectives on the case.

Hey Onlyliveonce...
You might find this interesting.
Vinny 'The Chin' lived on my block {Sullivan St between Bleeker / West 3 NYC} up until he died in 2005.
He was quite friendly with my now wife.

Bath robe and all....
He'd walk around the neighborhood looking totally disheveled and out of his mind.
What outsiders DIDN'T know was that he never walked the streets alone.
He may have looked like he was alone, but there was always 2 guys with him---1 across the street, the other behind him. Constantly watching his back. His goons watched every step he took. If somebody got too close, one of them would approach.
Most people didn't know who he was.
When the poo poo hit the fan, and the media was there, he realllly put on a show.
Going in trash cans...sitting on the curb...talking to birds.
Ahhhhh....Greenwich Village.... still don't miss it.
