They have free admission on Nevada Day (not sure if it's for everyone - we went with a homeschool group). Very cool. I'm looking forward to going again.

I've been and I thought it was very interesting and informative. I went with a friend who worked for years out at the test site and he had his own experiences to add to what the museum had to offer.

The Atomic Testing Museum is way nicer than I thought it would be. I'd recommend it. I plan to go again because there is so much to absorb. For one thing it is associated with the Smithsonian.
Along those lines you could tour the Test Sight with the Silent Heroes of The Cold War group, and deduct the cost. It will be a way better tour than the ordinary tour. I think the date listed on this site may be changed though. It's on our next meeting agenda to discuss, so stay tuned.
