Default considering a move to conway/morrilton area

Hello. My husband and I are in our twenties and starting the process of relocating. We are really considering Arkansas because it seems to be a great place to raise a family when we are ready to start one. We are considering the conway or morrilton areas and were wondering what the current economy is like in the area and how the job situation is. He can get a transfer with the company he works with but I am a college student and would be looking for a job in retail or customer service to get me through school. Are these jobs hard to find in this area? Also, when school is finished will I have a hard time trying to get a job in that area with an associates in business management? Just curious if it is mostly labor jobs, farm jobs etc. or if I can actually get a job in that area with my degree. Thank you for your help.

Right now the economy in AR is better than the national average, but what type of jobs, that could be another story.

Conway is becoming a popular place with some nice areas. I am not going to begin to tackle the question about finding work after graduation. No one knows what will happen in a year or two. How much longer do you have before getting your degree? Yes, you are right AR is a good place to raise a family.

Conway is a great area. There are three colleges here should you decide to pursue a bachelors in the future. Hewlett Packard is opening a new customer service facility here in the near future which will supposedly bring approximately 1200 jobs. Also, Southwestern Energy is opening a big office here. I recall they are going to hire 200-300 people. I could be wrong, it has been a while since I read the article.

Conway has great schools according to the parents I talked to. You may also check out Vilonia and Greenbrier if you desire a more country setting. These are small towns within 15 miles of Conway. I don't know a lot about Morrilton, but it just doesn't appeal to me aesthetically. They do have a community college there.
