Whaler's Cove & Similar Areas? (Babylon, Shirley: condo, townhome, to buy)

Hi! My fiance works in Manhattan and I work in Shirley. We are looking to buy a condo or townhome in a central area, like Babylon. We looked @ Whaler's Cove and liked its proximity to the railroad and Sunrise Highway. Anyone know anything about this area, or ones that are similar where we can also look?

I have a friend who lives in Whalers Cove. He loves it, and I love it. Thumbs up all around for me.

(he doesn't work in the city though so I'm not sure how the commute is).
