It's funny how the Jets losing their defensive QB hours before the Pats game isn't relevant... I guess having key players out is only relevant when it makes a point against the Jets.

haha - desperate Gents fan is desperate Gents fan. Kinda sad.

Leonhard is good and his loss hurt the Jets, but you can't exactly compare him to Troy Polamalu, not to mention the difference between a 42 and 5 point game...

Why even try to compare them? Every team has injuries.

I wasn't, I was responding to Mikeykd's post that tried to compare the Jets losing Lenhord to the Steelers losing Polamalu. There really is no comparison. While Lenhord is a good player and the Jets losing him hurts, he doesn't nearly have the impact Polamalu does. Very few players in football do.

Beating the Steelers with Polmamalu is much more impressive than beating them without him. As was shown last year Pittsburgh really isn't that strong of a team without him.

You play the team the opponent puts on the field. It counts either way in the standings.

So the Jets soundly beat the Pats with Tom Brady and Randy Moss on the field. They also beat the Steelers with Big Ben on the field.

I agree with you about TP, he is one of the best players in the game.

BTW, the Jets were missing their starting NT (Jenkins), starting SS (Leonard), starting FS (Smith) and starting RT (Woody) and still won, on the road in a very tough environment - I would say that IS impressive.

I think youre forgetting that the Jets havent won in Pitt in 7 games.

Polamalus great but cmon now.

Its not like they gave up 21 points and the Division at home in under 7 Min to the Patsies.
