You can't assume someone uses drug money or steals purses just by the way they dress, they could have a degree and a good job for all you know, they could be kids going to school and getting good grades too. That's like me saying "oh he's wearing all black he must cut himself in his spare time" or "oh that lady is old she couldn't have stole that _____, arrest that young man over there", etc.

You can't assume that, but if you do, you probably won't be wrong. If I pull 10 gangstas out of RF, I doubt you'd even find one of them getting good grades. These aren't honors students here wearing pantyhose on their head and size XXXXXL jeans.

Since I happen to know people and once was someone you might consider a "thug" I am going to have to disagree. I had good grades all through school, and college. My friends did as well. And if you catch us in our leisure cloths you might just relegate us to being thugs .
I don't wear do-rags, but I do wear baggy cloths.
And you need to keep up witht he times. "Thugs" have moved on to wearing "skinny jeans" (since we all know "thugs" is just code for young minority males)

Hell, whenever I visit Bensonhurst and see "my own kind" I get embarassed as hell. The Gotti wannabe gangstas with the spray on tan, baggy clothes, and cheesy haircuts are an embarassment to Italians everywhere.
