Yeah Pequa should be in the second tranche. along with 3V like OBH mentioned. 10/10 should be the first tranche. Even all the 'decent' schools should get a second look because they spend a lot less than the higher ranked ones..ROI and your tax bill is worth a look. This is one of the best utilities for this:

Depends where upstate. Many suburbs of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany have school districts that are just as good as many top rated school districts on Long Island and you can live there for much less money.

Ok so going by "General Education" Lindenhurst is above Hempstead by 1% but it ties with Riverhead and is still 7% below Amityville
