What part of Los Angeles to stay away from (Pasadena: neighborhoods, school)

I'm A black American 21 year old male,I'm thinking of moving to LA real soon I just love the diversity and hot women their I know about the gang stuff and what gang are not go into specifically at night,where most of the is active.I like to know what are to stay away from what I hear South Central and East LA where most of the violent at.

I mean Northwest around the highland park are or Eagle Rock area mine bad a 2011 hyundai elantra

There are lot's of great places to live in LA and if your mode of transprotation is by car, you can live just about anywhere. My favorite areas are the artsy neighborhoods of Silver Lake and Los Feliz. And if you can afford it, West Hollywood is very desirable. Parts of Hollywood are also great. But the latest trend in LA is young folks moving downtown.

I'll stay away from anywhere I see the words ''Bloods, Crips, MS-13 and Beware'' signs. Hope this helps.

Highland Park is Northeast LA and for a young black male it's an area to avoid. The Avenues have a restraining order so you probably won't be targeted for violence, but you might. And even if you aren't you won't feel welcome. You will be tested often. I don't know if you know, but blacks and Mexicans don't always get along in LA. Just being real.

If you are 21 years of age and represent yourself as you have with your post, you need to seriously think about enrolling in some type of school before even thinking about the "hot" women.
