West Torrance and El Segundo are nicer areas close to LAX, as cabguy suggested.

what are the good areas good for families? ones with a decent drive (30-45 min. possibly an hour if no choice)...what areas have decent schools? if you guys can give me the info and see what i'm trying to look for pls. feel free to help me out. thanks very much!

i'm trying to do some research...i was told valencia, long beach & other areas are the places where families live. i'm trying to get more info on good areas to live and good schools for my kids.
Burbank is a nice little big communiy, it is incorporated and the locals are known as Burbankians and are proud of their well kept community. It is also relatively close to LAX if one were to choose the Valley for home.
They take the education system serious in Burbank, and Burbank police will not take any crap in their community.
