Just making clear to some LA natives whom freak out when liquid falls from the sky, and Iowa tourists who expect sun, that it does occasionnaly rain in the city of Angels - especially in January and February.

I fear that we will see some reports of weather related accidents - which are entirely unneccesary, if one knows how to drive in the rain.

I learned how to drive in Seattle, but earned my license here.

I like rain, people always make such a big deal about it. The day feels more chill. Another plus is that all the pollution is cleared up the next day..

My commute today was actually easier than it's been all week. I think a lot of people stayed home from work - afraid to drive in the wet stuff.

It's worse in the snow. Going only 15, and break slightly too late, your at the mercy of a 3300lb out of control sleigh..

I don't mind the rain, I actually like it, it's like giving the city a cleansing shower. However, driving in the rain is frightening and I hate doing it. It's mostly becuase of how others react to the rain.

Rain certainly doesn't make driving easier--that's for sure.

But I welcome rain because it means I don't have to water my lawn and outdoor plants.
