A list celbrities maybe, but the majority of indie films I watch on netflix are mostly in LA. I really dont think LA is losing it in terms of the entertainment industry. With all of the "hipsters" moving to silver lake, venice and echo park with $$$ I doubt its going anywhere. The music scene in LA is on top of its game and I think the movie industry is sloooowly bringing in a new generation of stars. People are still flocking to LA from all over the country at the end of the day.

I personally hope LA never loses its entertainment appeal. Its what sets it apart from every city in the world.

Let's not forget Marvel's Agent Carter, which takes place in New York but was filmed entirely in Los Angeles. I recognized DTLA a lot.
