Let 'em go to Orange County. They can support a team and retain ties to San Diego.

There's no $2 billion dollar luxury stadium being built in Orange County. If they move here, it's all because a new stadium is being built for them to share. Shovels are already in the ground, with all the headaches of initial planning and funding taken care of by someone else. They basically get a "free" ride into a new stadium, all they have to do is show up and pay the rent. I believe they would get to keep all game day revenue. Plus, the value of the franchise would nearly double with the move to LA, that wouldn't happen in OC.
