Did you know the Space Shuttle didn't actually go into space? It went into a high orbit but was very much bound by the Earth's gravity, and the only reason the "astronauts" floated around inside was due to the shuttle's centripetal acceleration, just like water stays in a bucket if you swing it above your head fast enough.

Yes crime in the 90s was higher blah blah but L.A was also a lot less expensive then and many of the thugs got priced out to other areas .

This is a horrible thing for CA and L.A and will attract many more illegals here with these politicians rolling out the welcome mat for illegal aliens .

With Gov. Jerry Brown expected to sign Senate Bill 54 to make California a so-called sanctuary state, local law enforcement officials on Saturday expressed support and cautious optimism for the measure that would provide protections for illegal immigrants.

SB 54 recognizes what has worked in Los Angeles for nearly four decades," Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said. "We have reduced crime by building strong partnerships with our communities, regardless of civil immigration status

Considering that many LA Cops are Latino, it would make sense for them to support their cousins or amigos crossing our border illegally. Same can be said about the Border Patrol Agency. Just saying.

All these racial groups have lobbies except for the white working class people. Who's looking out for their interests? Wouldn't they be considered a minority in LA?

It makes me sick thinking about it. There's no way this state will keep anything in the public coffers unless they overturn Prop 13 and levy massive, massive, MASSIVE additional taxes on us. When we're hemorrhaging at least $21 billion a year due to illegal aliens, from where else will the money come to keep floating all our debt?
