Not sure. But I think some of them would make good drug sniffers due to a lot of personal experience in that area.

The Texas church shooter who murdered two people before he got shot was a homeless man mad at the church because they wouldn't give him any money.

Good grief welcome to LA tourists. They can’t even get out of the airport before seeing homeless bums everywhere. Not a good look Garcetti.

People keep coming here, jacking up the cost of living, and then real Americans like this man and his spouse can't find a place to live. Why do we let this happen? Why does the typical "refugee" get more financial assistance than this American?

You repeatedly post this stuff without evidence. Please add a link if your stories are actually true. I see nothing about this in the news.

It's true I heard it on the news not trying to flame just clarify. I watch NBC 4 every night from 4-6.

The only benefits that refugees qualify for but US Citizens don't is RCA snd DOS. RCA (refugee cash assistance) can only be received for 8 months, a refugee family of two with no other income can receive $420 a month for 8 months if they are unemployed. DOS, is an initial one time grant of $1850 receivable upon entry in the US. http://www.usccb.org/about/resettlem...sistance-2.pdf

The situation with seniors becoming homeless is real and it's tragic, but you can't blame it on refugees. If you feel you need to blame someone, you can start by blaming Ben Carson who has seen fit to replace section 8 vouchers with 'rapid rehousing vouchers' which only provide a rent subsidy for 6-18 months. Then you can move on from that to blaming builders and City planners who have been systematically eliminating low cost hotel and motel housing with luxury condos and high priced apartments.

According to this source, we spend $80,000 per "refugee". That money should be reallocated to American refugees, i.e. the homeless. We need to take care of our own before all these people crowding in here and taking potential resources from Americans, would you not agree?

Quote:
The Federation for American Immigration Reform Monday put the five-year price tag at $8.8 billion in federal and state costs, or nearly $80,000 per refugee. There are some 18 federal and state programs refugees can tap for financial help, including food stamps, child care, public housing and school loans.
