Los Angeles campuses will shut down completely beginning Thursday for all in-person tutoring and special services, as prospects for fully reopening the nation’s second-largest school district recede further into 2021 amid a dangerous coronavirus surge, Supt. Austin Beutner announced Monday (12/7).

Dangerous COVID-19 surge leads to hard shutdown of L.A. public schools:

It's not a plan. There's really not much of a choice in all this from the politicians, because at least 40% of the population, across all age ranges but mostly from the 25 and under crowd, has been disregarding recommendations from the scientific community. This city has too many stupid, obnoxious, inconsiderate people living in it and we're paying the price for that.

L.A. County officials this week released data showing big jumps in coronavirus cases in dozens of communities in the San Gabriel Valley, South Bay, the Westside and central L.A. Communities that saw a more than 200% increase in coronavirus cases between late September and late November include Silver Lake, Claremont, Rosemead, San Gabriel, South El Monte, Hawthorne, Palms, Westchester, Lennox and parts of South Los Angeles.

I was in Korea town last night picking up food from my favorite chicken spot. It felt like a normal Saturday nearly every business was opened. Communist Newsome lost all credibility at this point and people are not going to listen. Covid cases will continue to rise, vaccine starts arriving later this week. We will reach herd immunity, eventually we all will get the virus one way or the other.

Research herd immunity; you obviously know little about it.

Mom and I were talking about this in the early spring. She's in El Monte, a city that for decades has had special by-laws concerning long term and rehabilitation Care Homes. The poorer, or more stable comm. like El Monte, S. El Monte, don't travel much. El Monte has had NO cases that I know of, but we knew with the asshatness of "Freedom" idiocy and especially the TIK TOK crowd that we're going to get hit. It seems to be happening now.

Mom is 93. That vaccine, IF EFFECTIVE (?) is going to take six months to a year, IF THINGS GO WELL. it's not a panacea for being responsible to vulnerable members of society.

Even NOW, I still see people traipsing about without any sign of a mask that they can pull up when they're in proximity to another person. This city has way too many A-holes.
