And if you want to rent a Cabriolet you must give more then 1000 USD, also if you are over 21.

I must say I was very surprised by Atwest and their service. The car a Ford Mustang Cabriolet 3.9L v6, was in very good shape and very clean. We paid for 16 days with free miles. 1974.00$

I had a distant cousin rent a motor home with San Francisco pick-up at age 17 for 3 weeks... it would have been impossible to do that as a US resident...

The travel agent she used in Salzburg Austria set it all up... they had a special deal worked out to insure people with EU passports with prepaid RV rentals..

What have you found checking with travel agents in Denmark?

If you were staying 6 weeks or longer... buying a cheap car might make more sense... I know a Swiss Couple that has done it several times...

I just rented a 7 passenger VW mini-van in Germany and it was $900 per week and this was by far the best deal available in August!

I just rented a car from Rex last week. It is a nice place. It is small but the people are very friendly. I only had a pre-paid credit card with me - and had reserved a car from advantage. They wouldn't take my credit card. Not sure why - as it has money on it - just like any other card. However, they told me about Rex. Advantage was rude and when I made reservations - I gave them my card # and they never said a word about not taking my prepaid card. So - I will never go to them again. Rex was very friendly. They hold $300 from your card - but what you don't use - they put on quickly. I took the car back on Saturday and today (Tuesday) the money is back on my card. I don't know about getting you to the rent a car place - because we used Advantage shuttle to get from LAX - but when we took the car back to Rex - we stopped at a valet service - the guy jumped in the back seat - we drove to United Airlines (at LAX) and then he took the car away for us. It was an easy process - and a good experience for us. I would use REX again! It is small - maybe 15 cars - but they are very nice. We didn't need a fancy one - but got a Nissan Versa.
