Carl's Jr does have a burger that I like and I consider them the top of the traditional fast food places with In&Out a step above. But then In&Out is limited even with the other offerings that are not on the menu.
I discovered The Habit 2 weeks ago and I loved it! Pricier than In-n-Out but very tasty. Flame kissed burger grilled to perfection with bacon and cheese and had avocado added.

The Habit > In-N-Out > Fatburger... though the margin between The Habit and In-N-Out is far smaller than the margin between In-N-Out and Fatburger.

I'm a FatBurger fan. It is somewhat expensive but one doesn't need to be eating like that too often, right! I never cared for In&Out but their fries are ok. And I agree with an earlier post about FatBurger Milk Shakes. They are the BOMB!

I used to like burgers more but my income has not kept pace with eatery price increases so I get sticker shock when I do go. In-n-Out is ok but dislike the lines. Daughter gave me a gift card so I went 4 times and used up the card. If Fatburger, Five Guys and Habit are more expensive then I for sure won't go there. I go once in a while to Carl's Jr for the dollar Big Burger and a cup of water. Not too bad for a buck.

Their prices seem to be double in and out, but their burgers aren't twice as big. It must be one of the most expensive fast food places in la. Why are they so high? A family of four eating there, with two kingburgers, two regular burgers, 4 drinks and maybe a snack...like $30-35??

I think I could eat in-n-out more often, it'd be hard to eat fatburger everyday.
No offense but, Fatburger is nasty. That and Tommy's.

Fatburgers is good, but of course everyone has their opinions. Now for the life of me I can't understand the fuss over Tommy's Chili Burgers.

I have to agree with you on Tommy's. I don't get it, their chili to me is like what I would imagine can dog food would taste like.

Haha! I love Tommys, but I've never had a chili burger (or chili hotdog for that matter) that I didn't love. I love chili!

I am with you on this. For the budget minded Carl's Jr does have a tasty burger that is affordable.
