How's this for ya? Today and tomorrow - 80 degrees - Thursday - 52! Is the weather up there so drastic in its fluctuations? Mind you, I'm thrilled beyond belief that we actually get a cold Thanksgiving (cold by Texas standards, anyway) but really! And it will probably be in the upper 70s again the following week, but I will enjoy every moment of it.
I realize that I ***** about the temps here an awful lot, but it is one of the FIRST reasons I started researching a move north. The heat and confinement in the house really is unbearable to a free spirit like myself. I swear I was born in the wrong era and definitely in the wrong part of the country!
It was so wonderful when we visited last March. We could walk outside in the mornings and just breathe in the crisp, clean air. You can't breathe here, the air is so thick with humidity and heat. It makes me wheeze and I actually get light-headed when I get hot, and my whole head just closes up. Makes for a miserable lifestyle.
I just don't know why I've endured a place I hate so much for so many years now. Guess I just never "had enough" before. I've officially had enough!
...and I'm crying..... Enjoy it! We were out Christmas shopping today and saw quite a few women wearing shorts and tank tops. That's just wrong for November!
shoot....I meant MORE....the few flakes/sleet was cute but geez....Maine Writer you're just far enough north I think....darn it...and the radar loop looks like we're done
Bydand did you get any? snow that is.....
