Well, 80 degrees today and 83 tomorrow! Hard to believe Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away and it still feels like summer. Wish I were there already, but I know it's only a matter of time.
I'm trying to spend my days here getting prepared for moving, researching as much as I can to make the transition smooth and keeping the house showcase ready! We have had 3 showings in the last week, so finally some progress. I'm just praying for the right person to walk through the door and find "home" soon so we can COME HOME!!
Just finished watching Miracle on 34th Street with the kids - first Christmas movie of the season. Made me cry 4 times! I forgot how sappy these movies are this time of year.....or maybe it's just me that's sappy!
Just can't wait to spend a Christmas where it actually looks and feels like Christmas!
it was on all ready? holy cow!! I LOVE that movie.....and I find that so much of that has the charm still because WE couldn't watch it on DVD or VHS any time we wanted--the same with all the Christmas specials. My kids love those movies--Sound of Music too, but it's different for them
