Not "to close" but did close, with no announcement beforehand! At the end of April, my cousin mentioned that she would like to go to the Chick-A-Dee for her anniversary the following weekend. A couple days later, there was a sign on the window announcing that they were closed. So much for those plans.

We used to go to the Chick-a-dee a lot. Sad to see another business close.

stekino's
still remember the ads

rolandeau's is still open tho-on weekends-still looks the same - for 50 yrs

when I worked in Auburn 25 yrs ago, we went to chickadees alot-quite the menu and cute waitresses
that place was an institution

tabers-I loved that place!! use to go on my lunch hrs for some greasy food and hit a bucket of balls on the driving range

many new national restaurants in auburn over by wal-mart, the place is pretty built up

hate to see a place close- the cost of doing business is also going up, taxes insurance, minimum wage, all the expenses, and auburn's tax rates are not low
