Good Luck Jenkaye!!!!!!!!!!!!!I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! I know how hard the process is of selling a home--do I ever.

We had a call from a realtor tonight that they want to bring someone over tomorrow to see the house. That will be #5 I think. Our realtors office called today to tell me that of the 4 prospects, two were not really serious and the other two had liked the home and had no negative comments about the property but weren't ready to make a decision at this time. I got raves on how the house looks and comments that they liked the landscaping. I was out mowing and triming the lawns this evening and pruning the hedges! Tomorrow morning I will buff up the floors and put a shine on the counters. We are ready!

I had a call from my son who lives in South Portland this evening that he and his young family have made an offer on a home in Saco and it looks as if it will be accepted. I am so very hopeful for them. It is a modest home, but in a rural area with a yard that abutts a conservation area. It sounds like it would be a wonderful place for my grandchild.

Our HOMES are so very important. Central to our lives.

Thanks elston and msina your so sweet! I am crossing my fingers for you elston. It's so nice you have family in Maine, we will be leaving all our family behind. Neither one of us has lived away from family this is a true adventure for us. No one can quite understand why we are leaving but we want to do something different and let our kids experience some of the things we never got to.

I wish you the best of luck tomorrow, I will be buffing and shinning also, along with pooper scooping and shoving loose papers into cabinets! Keep us posted-

in sept 2207, 1028 houses were sold in maine, at an average , of 190,000
thats roughly, 195 million!!! (and 320,000) in one month, and that doesnt include, land sales, for sale by owners, or commercial properties, or businesses., or lease to buy, or rent to own,
yes, this total figure may be down a bit,,but i still believe its an impressive number,

Yeah, but what did they do this year? And next time you take a trip in your time machine, could you pick up a "History of horse racing, the definitive collection" for me? LOL I couldn't resist you know.

I'd like to see that too....would be interesting how a missed opportunity for another track in the state impacted harness racing in Maine

OK Jenkaye, how did the follow-up showing go for you? Any indication of what they are thinking? Keeping my fingers crossed for you and thinking of you and sending you as much positive energy as I can spare.
