Dear Caribou,

You stole our snow. Don't think this is the end of it.

Bar Harbor
Weak clipper cutting across New England today. I'm on the south no precip side. Caribou is on the north no precip side. lol This model (NAM3km) says Bar Habor will miss out too. It's gonna be close near the precip edge for you.

I included them in my circle. MAYBE might see 1" there? Maybe. Clipper is moisture starved and weak. Would be after 5pm.

Portland will see some snow again.

Come on Caribou, you can do it!

It's Sunday...... time to check in on the Top Snowiest "Climo Sites only" in the U.S.

  • Great Falls continues to be #1.
  • Marquette now moved into 2nd spot.
  • Caribou big move to 6th.
  • Welcome to the Top 30 Syracuse and Binghamton now.
  • The biggest move is Albany at 13th place with 26.8" for the season. normal is 5.5" to date!
  • Sorry Worcester, your big snowfall this week only brought you to 18" for the season so it doesn't make the Top 30 list. (32nd) Even though it's a foot above normal.
  • Sorry Hartford, your record snowfall only brought you to 16.5" so it doesn't make the Top 30 list. (38th) spot. Even though its 13.3" above normal.
It's getting tougher to make the Top 30 list as we get further into winter now. #NeedMoreSnow

The arrival of a new ice age always starts in the north, and starts with excessive snowfall.
