Our 20th anniversary is next month. S doesn't know it yet someone is coming to stay the night with T and we're going away over night.

If you could stay anywhere between Calais and Bangor for the night where would it be? Bangor limits us but we're working around three schedules and can't be very far for long.

Where would you eat? Sights to see? It's kind of sad that I have to ask this after growing up there but I'd like to see and do something different for a change.

I cannot help with recomendations for that area but you could have a plane fly you down to Portland or Boston. It would be something different. in any case...Have a wonderful time.... no matter what you do...

Thanks! That's a good idea. And I do know a couple of pilots because Steve occasionally charters flights for work. I'm a big chicken on small planes though.

I can't think exactly where it is, but how about the Lucerne Inn? I've heard it's very nice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't thought of the Lucerne Inn and Brewster Inn looks beautiful. I look into both.

June 4 for us. He was a freshman in college and a logger back then, filthy dirty from working in the rain all day. I knew the day we met that I'd marry him.

I was 17 when we met a local amusement park. That was june of '84... we just waited forever to get married. Good luck on your anniversary plans. We have actually rented a cabin (hot tub, modern appliances added) for 3 nights in a really gorgeous area of Ohio known as the Hocking Hills region.
