I felt so sorry for you guys yesterday. Driving all that way, as tired as you all were and then to have to get another key, turning on the water and it went everywhere, all that moping and cleaning you had to do, no way to fix yourselves something to eat. Having to stay up half the night with the plumber. Thank goodness he was available and stayed until everything was fixed. The fridge is still sitting on my front porch, the guy who does hauling that we used for years apparently is no longer here as the phone number is no longer in service. I'm sure hoping things are settling down for you all.

Yep, life is good, the house is finally becoming a home. Dead tired and getting ready to call it a day. The fridge is a high point of today! I finally have a place to cool some beer, and wife has stocked it with groceries.

Hey everyone...just wanted to let you know the house finally looks like a home. All is well. I am exhausted and will post more tomorrow.

I'm glad your here.
Maybe if you head to Calais for supplies, we could all meet up for a lunch meeting before we do the "chore".
I guess I'm hoping to meet you both with Molly, and Maine Writer.
If Corgis needs some supplies grab her.. and will make it a mini day of supplies and friends.

A wonderful idea. I will talk to Corgis and plan a day that we all can meet to get acquainted and have lunch. Thanks for the invite.

I feel real bad, right now, I can't make it out to Eastport for a while. With gas prices etc, I feel guilty when I journey off. I know that I have things to pick up in town so it always can work out for me.
I hope Molly gets a chance to read this.. I know Maine Writer is going to be very busy.
*I will miss her.
On my end.. Monday is family day, since it's our only day off from the restaurant... but if I get a day or two notice I should be good to plan a trip into town for things and meet you all.
