We've already hit our high of the day @ 8* and now, through the rest of the week, we will be hard pressed to find temps above 0*. Don't want to think about the windchill off Lake Michigan. brrrrr

As for today, I'll be watching both football games, woohoo!!! Go Steelers!!!! DH is getting his favorite cold weather supper of meatloaf and homemade hashbrowns.

I have cleaned the kitchen, made the bed, fed the cat, put away the last of the laundry I folded last night. Pulled two toy mice out from under the couch where the cat keeps putting them and then crying because he can not reach them. I have cleaned the litter box, taken out the trash and cleaned the bathroom. I need to run to the grocery store and this afternoon sit down and pay bills. Tomorrow I will go to work and get some rest.

I have a new buyer client that I had to compete with 2 other agents to get and we're spending our first day together. We're headed out to Buxton, Hollis and Gorham at 12:30, as it's supposed to wind up at noon in the Portland area.

I made the bed, cooked breakfast, threw a load of laundry through and I'm making a pot of beef barley soup. Fed and brushed the pooch, I have to steal his bedding and soft toys when he's not looking and get them in the wash.

We got up early, to get ready for church, then at 9am we got a call, it was canceled for today. So we went into the regular routine.

Our eldest was feeding the pigs and noticed an issue. I went and checked. Our sow has prolapsed something. So I separated the boar into a different pen.

Now I have been reading up on prolapses. I really did not think that prolapses ever happened until delivery, but now I have learned that it can happen at anytime, from a myriad of causes.

B is making banana bread and putting up asparagus, complaining that our shelving is too weak and can not support all of the food she has been canning.

We ran out of potato chips; so we may make some chips. I have not decided whether to do potato or corn chips.

We might have about an inch of fresh fluff. I will wait until 2pm to make the call of whether to plow the driveway or not.

Just a normal winter day.

I just got back from the grocery store...I hate pushing a cart through an unplowed parking lot! The roads are a bit nasty. I am sure once they get out and plow, things will improve. I am ready for summer!
