I live in Baltimore County so it doesn't make sense to travel out of state regularly to buy things like people in Salisbury or Cumberland or Hagerstown might. But when I'm out of state for other reasons, especially in any state to our south, I stock up on consumer items you can get at Walmart, plus alcohol and also fill up my gas tank before crossing back into Maryland now that the gas tax is going up too.

I know many people who stock up on cigarettes because of the taxes here. Now O'Malley is hoping the Congress passes laws allwoing states to tax Internet purchases. This is because many people in high tax states like Maryland have been doing more shopping online too to avoid the ridiculously high sales tax in Maryland.

I've been boycotting Maryland in general, purchasing large ticket items either online or in neighboring Virginia or Delaware.

I moved. I never thought I would move because of a state's legislation, but I've had enough of Maryland. Maybe some rich, uber-liberal will buy my house.

This will be me in September. My company had enough with it and moved our office south. I can't wait.

Ding. Ding. Ding. Moving should be an option on here. That was my choice as well.

Or an illegal alien. I'm sure at least 4 families of them can fit in your house. Maybe up to 7 families if its a large house, baby mamacitas included!!!

Filling up before I enter MD (luckily I don't drive as much), online shopping, that's about it.

I wouldn't move any further South than VA since I have to be near an intl airport. Though I'm really disgusted at the state legislature.
