And what kind of name is 'Nemo'..doesn't live up to the massiveness of this up coming storm..I'm seeing snowfall amounts possibly hitting 30"!!! Just in time for the 35th anniversary of Blizzard of 78'.

I find snow to be such nuisance...so unnecessary....I really hope it's a real dud-miss!

Will it or won't it? Or will it be somewhere in between. Does anyone know where to look for a weather map with frontal systems and temps? It's easier if you can see one of those and judge for yourself rather than relying on their radar systems.

(spoken by someone who was nearly hit by a tornado while the radio was saying perfect weather. After the tornadoes they said it was too close to the radar to be noticed. And, before that, stuck on a glare icey highway while car radio gloated about the beautiful starlit night, perfect for a ride.)

We'll take your 30" up here in Vermont if you don't want it. We're only supposed to get 8-14.
Love snow. BRING IT ON!

Keeping my fingers crossed that they are not wrong this time. I am so sick of low snow winters. I LOVE winter especially snowy ones! Snow is one of many great things this area offers.

Well, if it does snow badly that means no flights which means my job will be HORRENDOUSLY boring and I'll end up sitting around staring at the ceiling for 10 hours.

On one hand, I'd love to experience my first real blizzard and on the other I'd rather the airport continued functioning so I actually have work to do.

I have to work Friday night and then return to work at 6am. I may have to pack an overnight bag and leave my car in the school's parking garage. Otherwise, I'll just park at the end of my driveway. I LOVE snow, but unfortunately I'm working all weekend.

They say that warmer air might push through so that along the coast it might be mostly rain.

The Weather Channel looks so silly when they name winter storms......LOL!

I'm glad we are no longer up there just for this reason. I will watch it on TV, in sunny and warm Florida.

I feel bad for my parents. They are in central MA and this is never good for them....being 80.

I wish everyone the best.
