I went to Suffolk for UG, and it was ok. If your major is in the business school (especially Accounting or Finance) it'll open every door any of the other non MIT/Harvard schools will open in boston. You may need to be a bit more proactive... but it's solid. I went to Suffolk because I didn't want a campus, I wanted a city, and I got that. This will not be the normal college experience, but I saw that as a good thing.

Suffolk never held me back, I worked in a few great companies before going to grad school at an Ivy. Now, there are plenty of people who don't end up with the best careers... but that's to be expected when acceptance rates are so high. If you can get into the honors program, and are willing to put in extra effort, it'll be a great experience. Even without the honors program, it's pretty easy to stand out and be successful.

Also, it's a pretty solid school for part time MBA, or MFA

It's a career oriented school. It's not highly ranked (competitive) and it accepts many people from really bad two year colleges as transfer students.

The Barron's Book ranks it as "Competitive", which only means that everyone who applies is not accepted.

It's also expensive. There are so many better options.
