Oh, I beg to differ. Have you driven on Trapelo lately? Pothole city, especially around Waverly. That is a main roadway for many beyond Belmont. That should be fixed regardless of any politics between Belmont and the state.

I think he or she was being sarcastic... Belmont is easily the worst town around here for roads and has been for as long as I can remember, and I'm convinced they do it on purpose.

Trapelo specifically will get done soon. I think they've been waiting for the Cushing Square development project to kick off the whole thing because there was probably some arrangement where the developer pays for part of the road work. The plan I remember seeing included repaving areas all the way from Waverly down to Grove St. and making Templeton one-way leaving the intersection.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. I like how they keep it that way, slows the traffic.

I grew up in the Winn Brook neighborhood (still have family there) and the traffic has shot through the roof. It's crazy now. So many people try to get off route 2 and cut over, etc.

I'm pretty sure Canton has the same issue. I kind of do believe that towns do this on purpose. Considering that some areas of Canton have great roads and others don't. The well paved roads in Canton tend to be near the Police Station (where obviously you'd have to be an idiot to speed by) or where roads have speed bumps.

But once your near the border; potholes everywhere. You notice the difference once you enter a different town. I notice it on the way to Randolph, Dedham or Stoughton.

Nashoba Road around the pond in Littleton is another one of these, with beautiful homes across from the water, but the road has been beyond potholed for years. It may as well be a dirt road. Every time i take this path I question why my memory was so short from the last ride on it.
