It is what it is, middle of the road chain pizza. Not a terrible option in places without real Italian food, but a little bit pricey.

Yeah, I like Papa Gino's when I lived in Boston. It was fast food/chain pizza, but one of the better versions of fast food pizza.

My favorite overall was Santarpio's - of course I haven't lived in Boston for over a dozen years now, so no idea if that's still good.

The East Boston one is, or was last year. The one on Route 1 is meh. A shadow of the East Boston location.

They didn't even have a second location when I still lived there! That's too bad that it's not very good.

Santarpios is my numero uno of Boston Pizza. The lamb is hit or miss. Sausage is usually good.

Good discussion on AB, but why doesnt Boston have any 99 or dollar pizza slices. In NY theres a ton, and their quite good. In Boston youll pay $4.50 for a slice and its meh.

Wow! "Cold tea" goes all the way back to the 1970s Combat Zone days. I hadn't thought about that in decades.

Typical of when they open up knockoff locations of these old institutions (see Pizzeria Regina).
