What is your favorite kid-friendly place to go apple picking? Or pick pumpkins? Place that has hay rides? Looking for typical autumn touristy things to do now that Fall is approaching.

Was already told about the big apple in Wrentham. Where else do you recommend going?

Good luck finding apples this year. A lot of places have none due to the weather this Spring. IT got real warm and the trees bloomed early, then there was a frost and it killed them.

Lookout Farm in Natick is great. You take a "train" to go out into the fields and there is usually a variety of fruits to pick plus there's a playground and petting zoo out in the middle of everything.

Tougas in Northborough is very family friendly has a playground, apple cider donuts, kettlecorn, etc.
Apple Picking and Family Fun at Tougas Family Farm, Metrowest Massachusetts I wouldn't reccomend for pumpkins just because it's not "fun". The pumpkins are just in the grass at the exit of the Apple orchards.

I prefer Westview Farms in Monson for pumpkins. They have a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick your pumpkins and the prices are very reasonable. Also very family friendly. You can feed goats I think. There's a playground too.

We've done look out farms in Natick for apples which was very expensive. They charge a $9 per person admission and then you also pay for what you pick.
