Absolutely. Why? Why are they shipped in one of the most expensive states...
Will they able to support themselves here?
If not.. is it expected that other people will support them?

Haiti has 11 million people. Country is in huge internal mess. What if 11 millions decide to arrive here? Is this a solution?

It's maddening that the US is responsible or thinks they should be responsible for other countries messes. How in the hell could there be that many people living there? do they spend all their time having sex? Just crazy.

Well.. Japan has 130+ millions and this is advanced nation which for many years has 1-2 kids per family.

It is more complicated, but yes in third world countries (Haiti is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere) people do not have enough sex education or means to protect themselves. Also when kids die early parents tend to have larger families so at least some will survive even if healthcare is not adequate. This is what Bill Gates meant when he said that vaccines and medications will reduce the population. He did not mean that vaccines will kill, but people will stop having gazillion kids in third world countries.

Government makes a huge difference.
When China implemented the one-child policy, it was a very poor country. Still, most families did follow the policy, and those who dare break the law usually just had 2 or 3, not much more.

The point is that life here in the US should not be forced to suffer because of this influx of poor immigrants. It feels like that is what is happening. When will enough be enough? Never?

Not to mention that all these migrants can now get licenses here too! Be extra cautious on the roads and up your insurance coverage b/c you know what's gonna happen if one of them crashes you! All on your dime!

I agree. Especially considering that poor people in this country suffer the most.
When US was industrial and even better when it was building industries where manual work was prevalent it was somewhat justifiable. Now not so much.

Also sometimes poor migrant masses are used against countries... This is what Erdogan (Turkish president) sometimes does against EU countries to negotiate with them. He sends Syrians and other migrants.

As for me, maybe not at this very minute, but believe me I've had kids in school...in a district a lot more diverse than Concord. Those privileged kids will live, thrive, and maybe even (shock!) learn something about diversity.
Way to twist my words By doing so, you've made it very clear that you haven't had a clue as to what happens when a school system gets overwhelmed with the kids of illegal aliens and the so-called "migrants".

Having lived through what happened in my community when it got overwhelmed by illegal aliens, I can tell you that your fantasy of what such diversity brings is quite the opposite of what happens.

The kids of the illegal aliens and the so-called "migrants" consume a lot of the teacher's time in the classroom. Even those kids who are anchor babies arrive at school not knowing a word of English and the Spanish they do know is atrocious. For example, they don't know the different colors and can't tell red from blue. Meanwhile, the kids who do come to school prepared are the ones who are losing out on a proper education.

The elementary school our daughter attended was once a good school. She never had a bad teacher and standardized test scores were good. Once the community got overwhelmed with what you call "diversity", the school got so bad that it lost its accreditation. That was sad to see.

Before you start thinking that her elementary school was 100% white and American born, there were some children of immigrants attending. These were immigrants who came here legally and their kids came to school knowing English and eager to learn.

Why do you assume that the Haitian kids are all "predators"? TBH, that's absurd thinking.

So...when you do have kids, be sure to move to an area where the majority of the kids are either illegal aliens or have parents who are here illegally. Or, maybe they are the kids of the so-called recent "migrants". Then come back and tell us all how that is working for you.

Charlie Baker fought really hard against this proposition...

But speaking of which, ever occur to you why we have so many international-born medical professionals in this country (surgeons, physicians, nurses)? It's because there aren't enough WHITES going into those professions.
No, that's not the reason that, to quote you, "there aren't enough WHITES going into those professions". Many Americans want to go to nursing school but there aren't enough seats available in nursing schools. People who teach at nursing schools make less money than nurses who work in hospitals. Having once done support staff work at a nursing school, I speak from experience when it comes to this issue.

As for MDs, the same thing can be said about limited seats in Med Schools. Why do you think many Americans and Canadians end up going to Med Schools in the Caribbean?
