Because the mainstream media is propaganda for the left, the right has to seek alternative forms of media, which as you point out is no better, but just feeds the beast even more.

Do you not realize that Fox News is still, by far, the no. 1 cable news network? Do you further not realize that many conservatives on here quite dearly love and look up to Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham. And if you need an alternative, then there is always NewsMax and OAN for starters.

Fox was only created in the 90s when they realized that there was a huge audience who were tire of the further Left leaning media.
Some of us don't need anyone else to "see the light" and tell us the "mainstream media" -- whether left or right-- is biased. Some of us figured that out on our own, years ago, long before cancelling the MSM became a thing.
More important, we figured out that most US media is sensationalist fluff that isn't worth our time or attention.
Oh, and I'm a "liberal."
Actually, it is liberals that are most likely to trust the media.

I think you don't get reality here.
Fox News does well versus other cable news networks, but trail behind CBS, ABC, and NBC. Fox News is a just a small fraction of media in the US.
Fox News is relatively new, why were they made? Because the mainstream media is propaganda. That propaganda of the mainstream media goes leftward. Fox News fill a void for people who want propaganda from a different angle.
Thus I am correct. The mainstream media being propaganda for the left has pushed many conservatives out towards other news sources that are often fringe and certainly with right spins. The mainstream media can blame themselves for this.

Billionaire and leftist Bill Ackman has stated that when he knows a lot about a topic he sees that the media is inaccurate and has a bias. He somehow still trusted the media on topics he knew less about.
However, he was watching the Rittenhouse Trial live and then seeing what the mainstream media twisted it to be and now no longer trusts them at all.
He worries that people will riot if Rittenhouse is set free, because the media has done a horrible job of being honest and fair in its coverage.
Bill Ackman still supports stronger gun control, but says gun control has nothing to do with Rittenhouse's innocence.
