This was just brought alive in the Mental Health area in Health group.
I'm not a doctor by any stretch but research so much for my own health.
Both my parents lived into 90's, I had mom on grape seed ex at about 85 when I found out about it..but dad never took it. They both had good minds when they passed, other health issues took them.
How much grape seed extract are you supposed to take and how do you take it?
I take capsules and for most 200mg is a good daily dose. A peron's weight has a lot to do with dose. I take 200mg at least daily....I've been taking it 22 yrs and even buy a 600mg capsule as I like to experiment.
I've never had a side effect from taking grape seed ex BUT for those who take pharma blood thinner, can't take both. One or the other. Grape Seed Ex thins and cleans our blood.
A lot of these do-it-yourself things are blood thinners. You could do the same thing by drinking coffee since it dilates the blood vessels in the brain and reduces calcification (plaque) in the blood vessels.
I like my one cup of organic per day but that is it. I know many live on coffee all day and are awake all night. I'm so sold on grape seed ex for decades. And may prevent cancer(s).
Both coffee and coconut oil come with the side effect that they can make your blood sugar levels worse, which has relevance for Alzheimer's prevention. Here's a recent article on coconut oil.
