It's interesting that Margaret Anderson Kelliher

1. is far ahead on the poll on this thread,

2. has by far the most yard signs around Minneapolis,

3. received a ridiculously larger amount of applause than the other two DFL candidates at the debate on Sunday.

Seeing as she comes quite a bit behind Mark Dayton in the polls, is it just that she has much more active and energized supporters and Mark Dayton has the name recognition? Or do these signs actually show that she has a good chance at winning? I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I was at the debate, and Margret stacked her workers at the debate. I don't want to sound like an angry person or anything, but a solid 3rd of the people were wearing the same exact Kelliher shirts, and came in together. Thats why Entenza through that slam her way about "his workers doing work right now and not watching the debate."

Did you know Kelliher grew up on a farm?

I joke because that was her response to many of the questions.

I'm right leaning but voted for Entenza today. He's the most palatable of the three and if I had to pick one who isn't a conservative I'd pick him. I'm also not fond of Emmer and wasn't too keen on voting for him. I don't know what I'll do in November.

I almost always vote DFL. The two candidates in the Dem category I liked included Dayton and Entenza, but I voted for Dayton today. If Kelliher wins tonight, I will probably vote for her, although I have been researching Tom Horner. I don't usually vote Independent, because it seems like you are just throwing your vote away, but he has some good ideas. One thing I do know is I won't be voting for Emmer.

Exclamation If you want politicians out of corporate pockets, you MUST vote local!

It's true, all politics is local. However, if you want to see reform in Washington, then find local politicians whom you trust, and work to promote them forward. Even if you begin with the school board or park board members, or lower, your local neighborhood association. Find one good man, woman, gay or straight, Christian or Muslim, just find one good person and work for them and VOTE VOTE VOTE!

Wow what a tight election, I voted this morning and the line was crazy. Decent turnout for an August primary and we might be headed for a recount.

People really need to stop thinking that way about independent and 3rd party candidates.
