When did you attend Park Center? When I was in school (late 80's - early 90's, before they added Maple Grove), Park Center and Osseo were major athletic powerhouses and considered great schools. Fast forward to today, and Park Center has had to drop two or three classes in some sports due to income levels. It's a completely different world now.

Yeah, I graduated a couple years ago, and during my time, the only decent competitive programs were the adapted sports and the marching band. I've heard that their basketball team did alright this year, though.

They aren't competitive on marching band any more. We've never seen them at a competition in the past 8 years.

Huh. I could have sworn that they won the big competition in Alexandria last year, but forgive me if i'm wrong.

True, but I would guess that a lot of that redneck attitude comes from the northern part of the district, rather than the area around Champlin/Brooklyn Park. The areas north of Anoka all the way up to the border with St. Francis are full of that kind of white trash.
