Family and I are coming up the first week of August. We are staying at a private facility, but are planning on doing some touristy stuff that involves state parks. Will Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock State Parks be closed? If so, that will suck...

They just signed a deal to end the shutdown so things should be up and running by then.

i dont live in MN but ill assume as we had this scare back in april with the federal government shutting down i think all state parks etc. are closed.

Edit: if they did sign a deal and funding is started again then parks should be opened.

I went back home (MN) the week before last to visit... Talk about awful timing with the state shutting down. Hope you have better luck!!
