Maybe, hopefully but the requirements and stipulations still have to be determined. Sounds like a lot of confusion and hidden rules

Well let’s just be glad we’ve got a hard working representative that was able to get the bridge project included. Guy is truly working his butt off for the people here. Funny that Birmingham was able to get funding written out for that northern beltway which won’t be finished in the next 40 years, even if it gets funding, but the bridge project and bayway expansion is apparently not as important to have funds earmarked for it

There is the possibility that the bill could pay for as much as half of the Bay Bridge Project. Hopefully Mobile will get that, would be big win, as well as funding to expand future 158/98 and highway 45
So there are two unneeded Interstate projects in the bill - B'ham northern beltiline initiation, and I-14?

So although does not directly effect the Mobile area, Construction broke ground for the Highway 43 expansion from Thomasville to Tuscaloosa this past Friday, This expansion will actually turn a portion of Highway 69 into Highway 43. After over a generation there will finally be a four lane connection to Tuscaloosa from Mobile and will finally serve as a quality hurricane evacuation route. The budget for this expansion is $800 million
