The movie came first. It's noticeably different from Nolan's & Johnson's 1968 novel. In the book, people are sentenced to die when they're 21, not 30. Logan is a sandman who comes to empathize with a rogue group that helps smuggle people away to a colony on Mars. The movie's quasi-futuristic art deco look is completely intrinsic to itself.

I remember the show but can't recall the movie.

Anyone remember Doc Savage? Might make a decent TV Series.

And again with In Time in 2011. When I saw the trailer, I was 100% convinced during the entire thing that it was a Logan's Run remake. In fact, I STILL thought it was even after I saw the title, I just assumed they were taking some kind of artistic liberty with the name.
