It seems as if the members of the cast really enjoyed each other's company.

Just watched "The Shape of Water" tonight.

Sure. There are elements of "remakes" in this film: e.g., Black Lagoon, Beauty and The Beast. Regardless, this is a unique, special, and wonderful film on many levels.

So as not to "spill & spoil" it for anyone, the only observation I chose to share is the common element of loneliness amongst the lead characters.

Loved this film.

We just saw this today, what a beautiful movie. I loved every minute of it. It's interesting that they cast Michael Shannon as Strickland, his role was so similar to the one he played as Nelson Van Alden in Boardwalk Empire.
