No, it's an era for who made those movies? The Italians. What other era is there in Italian movie making? Spaghetti Westerns. But while The Cheyenne Social Club, say, is a type of movie as that it is a Western, it is not a Spaghetti Western. Same thing with S&S, it marks an era of Italian movie making.
