Can we talk about bad Christmas songs? Like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.
PLEASE start a thread on this! (I would but I dislike starting more threads than I think is my share.)
Top of my list would be Jose' Feliciano's Feliz Navidad, followed by I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.
(I am sure that I would also hate many of the newer songs, but I don't think I have listened to any new rock or rap songs since about 2011 after my kids moved out of the house, lol.)

Actually, that's a personal favorite around my family.
Of the modern songs, my fav is "Run, Run, Rudolph" but then again, it was only this year that I knew any of the lyrics other than the chorus. With my 2nd being "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses.
When my Parents were alive, it was usually reel to reel tape of various bands, like the Tijuana Brass, playing but not singing Christmas songs.
As to movies, "Santa Claus/Martians" isn't too bad....especially when I found out that was Vincent Beck in the lead.
I don't think Chevy Chase is funny, so I've never seen the entire Christmas Vacation movie.
Never been a fan of National Lampoon for anything. About the best thing about the movie in question, maybe the only good thing, is the opening with Rudolph leading the air extraction.
The Jim Carrey Grinch was just badly over acted and the whole story was lacking. The Scrooge he did was even worse.
