Did anyone mention "Goonies"? That was a cult classic.

One I haven't seen on the list thus far, but LOVED: "Raising Arizona" (1987).

"Ah...luv him so much...<SOBSOBSOB>"
"Ah know ya do, honey."

I love, love, love 80's movies and all of the ones you guys posted are great. One of my very favs that hasn't been posted yet was Loverboy! It has a teen-aged Patrick Dempsey in it.

Yes! That was just on TV last week.

I also like "Better Off Dead" with John Cusack. Loved the animated part with Van Halen and the fries that dipped their "toes" in the oil. LOL

I remember walking out of the theater after "Aliens" in exhaustion - they have been showing it some on cable recently and it's still the best - exhillarating, funny, good story, great star and supporting cast of characters (including the 'queen') - probably the greatest sequel ever made. AND NO CGI. "Did IQs just drop sharply" after that?

Top Gun....that is probably one of the most quotable movies ever...."That's right...Ice...Man...I AM dangerous!" Pretty in Pink, classic. Can't Buy Me Love...The Great Outdoors, especially that monologue Dan Akroyd gives while on the porch talking about how'd he develop the wilderness...I think Moonstruck was from the '80's. Whoever said Killer Klowns from Outerspace scares me...that movie is too creepy, I HATE clowns!

I recently saw the new "Indiana Jones" movie, which brought back great memories of the first three that were shown in the 1980s.
