Yes, but it's worth mentioning again for sure.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

One note about Spielberg productions though. His movies often play themselves out at a leisurely rate. Great for the first viewing, not so great for follow up viewings.

Still...he seems to be the master of movie craft. Though Cameron has been 'kicking ass' for some time now.

Pretty much most of my beloved & favorite picks, have already been posted! (most of the "brat pack" movies, among others)

But I can't believe these haven't been mentioned yet:

Say Anything - Lloyd meets girl story-(John Cusack)....one of the quintessential movies of the 80's

Here are a few others worth mentioning.....

Less than Zero

Back to School (Rodney Dangerfield)

This is Spinal Tap

Uncle Buck

and these not really teen oriented 80s movies, .but I thought I'd throw em in anyways..

Popeye (Robin Williams)

Beverly Hills Copy (and pretty much other Eddie Murphy films of the 80s)...Trading Places, Golden Child, Coming to America (the other 80s movies he did...eh..)

Jumpin Jack Flash (Whoopi) (among Fatal Beauty & Burglar)

The Goonies is the first that comes to mind.

Man, I can't believe I missed Say Anything. That pick reminded me of another flick the girl Ione Skye-Leitch played in:

River's Edge.

Great teen drama. Crispin Glover was very good, if not a bit over-the-top. Keanu was solid. Dennis Hopper was creepy. The Keanu character's 12-year-old brother was excellent.
