LOL.. They started out in 1968, 40 years ago so I'd say they're more like the Godfathers of Heavy Metal!

I called them "The Fab 4 of the 1970's" - That's a recent picture of Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Terry "Geezer" Butler.

I think Keith Richards once said Bob Wills' Texas Playboys were one of his favorite bands. I know he said Eldon Shamblin of the Playboys was the greatest rhythm guitarist ever. I'm sure BanjoMike can chime in. (Mine is the Stones for reasons I stated earlier)
