I do notice that "Hocus Pocus" originally came out in 1971 but didn't enter the Top 10 until June 1973, I believe "Frankenstein" came out several months earlier.

Thanks to satellite radio, I hear Prelude's stunning cover of "After the Gold Rush" a little more often:

This song was in my head thru the 80s and 90s, I never heard it anywhere since the 70s but always rememberd the line "Gotta get up to get the get down feelin...." Didnt know the name of the song or the group. When I got broadband internet in the 2000s I looked it up and could finally hear it.

This one was really obscure, only heard it on a FM station a few times around 1976-77. Same story as above, finally found it a few years ago.

This song came out in 1975, and I really liked it the few times I heard it on the radio, enough to fork over hard earned lawn mowing money for the album. Another on my long list of Shoulda Been a Big Hit songs....

This band did everything the right way to be big rock stars - wrote catchy pop/rock singles, went on tour opening up for big acts, managed by the same guy as KISS - but it didn't work, by the late 70s they had broken up and were all but forgotten.

Starz - Cherry Baby, #33 in 1977.
