I'm not huge into labels and never was deep into the scene - there is music I like and music I don't
I've always enjoyed stuff that would fit within punk, hardcore, ska, skacore, psychobilly, skate rock or just plain ol' rock & roll ..... some of the bands I've enjoyed
Bad Religion
Face to Face
CIV
Sick of it All
Dead Kennedys
NOFX
Lagwagon
Pennywise
Reverend Horton Heat
Supersuckers
Hellacopters
Authority Zero
Social Distortion
Violent Femmes
Less than Jake
Nashville P!*$^y
No Use for a Name
The Cramps
Throw Rag
Tiger Army
Street Dogs
Buck-O-Nine
etc ..... now that I type it out it looks like I have a lot of CA influence in what I like to listen to.........
Also, I had a chance to see Iggy in '97 .... i can't imagine what his shows were like in his earlier years ... it was pretty cool and a really fun show from top to bottom
I used to listen to a lot of punk, oi, etc. **** Sparrer, The Vibrators, Dead Kennedys, TSOL, Angelic Upstarts, stuff like that. I tend to listen to metal most of the time now but will still put on some Stiff Little Fingers (still on of my favorite bands) every now and then.
